Here To Be Seen: Women and Justice

In the fall of 2015, Mightee Shero Productions partnered with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Kings County Re-Entry Task Force to create an original theater piece that engages the community in issues affecting women in the criminal justice system. Here To Be Seen: Women and Justice, is a collection of short plays written by a diverse group of female playwrights and inspired by conversations with formerly incarcerated women. On November 17, 2015 this piece was performed by a cast of professional actors, activists, and formerly incarcerated women for an audience of artists, political leaders, criminal justice workers, activists and community members.
